Since the first COP or the Conference of the Parties was held in Berlin in 1995, the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) has gathered the international community together to assess and advance progress on tackling climate change.

COP28 saw around 65,000 core attendees in UAE, the biggest show of support amongst past events.
